Zoomalooya' Lyrics, Notes, & Credits
Zoomalooya - the Bible says when we live a life of Worship our Spirits
will soar like eagles. We run and don’t fall down, we walk and don’t
get tired.
Boomalooya - when we worship, our hearts explode with love for our Lord and
Savior.
Hallelujah - worshipping Jesus the King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
Yippee Yahoo - worship is fun !
ZOOMALOOYA
Suggested hand motions:
Zoomalooya - take your right hand from about your hip and swoop it up into
the air above your head with a flat hand, like a plane taking off
Boomalooya - Make your right hand into a fist (the one that is above your head)
and bring it down into your left open palm - like and explosion.
Hallelujah - lift both hands above your head and praise Him
Yippee Yahoo - clap three times.
CHORUS - Zoomalooya, Boomalooya, Hallelujah, Yippee Yahoo (4x)
Zoomalooya and off we go
To the flat-out, nonstop worship show
Some will fly, some will soar
All will enter through the Door
Angels shout, “Get out of bed !”
“Jesus is risen from the dead !”
From the dead, get out of bed
I said, “Jesus is risen from the dead !”
CHORUS
Zoomalooya and Yippee Yahoo
Holy, Holy and Yabadabadoo
All Creation under earth and sky
Lift your voice and let it fly
Sing Hosanna, Worthy is the Lamb
Give it up for the great I Am
Great I Am, Worthy is the Lamb
I said, “Give it up for the Great I Am!”
CHORUS
Everybody sing (la la la la la la)
Everybody shout (Jesus, Jesus)
Everybody clap, Let your praises out.....

JUMP FOR JESUS
A little while ago Steven Courtney and I came up with
the idea to write songs together via email. One of us would start by emailing
the other an idea for a song, or the first line of the song. Then the other
would email back the next line. Then the other would email back another line
and we would keep doing this, emailing back and forth until the song was done.
It was quite exhilarating and alot of fun. We wrote the lyrics to about 40
songs that way. When you see that Steven and I wrote a song on this cd together,
you can imagine us laughing and giggling at our computers as we read the other
person’s emails and wrote back our next line, hoping to make the other
one laugh.
Suggested motions:
Jump when you sing jump. Jumping is both feet straight up in the air and back
down again.
Hop when you sing hop. Hopping is the same as jumping except on one leg - straight
up, back down.
Leap when you sing leap. Leaping is sort of the combination of jumping and
hopping. Bring your right leg up towards your chest while hopping on your left
leg. As your right leg goes down to land, bring your left leg up towards your
chest. Sort of like riding bike in the air. Still straight up and straight
back down. No side to side. That can get dangerous.
When you shout, cup your hands to your mouth and holler “AAAAAAA”
When the leader sings Oy! Oy! Oy! have everyone else echo Oy! Oy! Oy!
Jump for Jesus
Jump for Joy
Jump for victory
Oy! Oy! Oy!
Hop for Jesus
Hop for Joy
Hop for victory
Oy! Oy! Oy!
Leap for Jesus
Leap for Joy
Leap for victory
Oy! Oy! Oy!
Jump, jump, jump, jump
Hop,hop,hop,hop
Leap,leap,leap,leap
Oy! Oy! Oy! Oh!
When your feet leave the ground
And you make a praising sound
The angels join in too
Cause they know what to do....
Shout for Jesus
Shout for Joy
Shout for victory
Oy! Oy! Oy!
Jump for Jesus
Hop for Joy
Leap for victory
Oy! Oy! Oy!

HEY HEY MATE
featuring Phredd Phurman - Stuffed Animal Wrestler
Phredd Phurman, Phredd Phurman
Phredd Phurman, Phredd Phurman
CHORUS
Hey Hey Mate I’m the Stuffed Animal Wrestler
Hey Hey Mate Confronting Danger in the Wild
Hey Hey Mate I’m hunting stuffies in the outback
Hey Hey Mate and you can come along
Marshmallowkiss Teddybearicus
Hurling volleys with his racket
Steer clear of this one, Mate
Cause he can really pack it
This Teddy is quite odd
In the wild you’ll find none stranger
With marshmallows ricocheting
I holler Danger, Danger, Danger
CHORUS
Here’s the Smiling Green Octoped
His name is simply “oi”
You can tell by his red lips
That this one is a boy
Now he doesn’t swim in water
And can’t fly in the air
He walks about on 8 little legs
This species is quite rare
CHORUS
Meet the Pink Skunky Monkey
We’ve got to reduce his stress
He can be a real stinker
And smell up quite a mess
Now, Isn’t He a beauty ?
So placid and quite calm
But if you get him riled
He’ll release a Noxious Bomb
If you meet a cranky blighter
And he’s having a bad day
Take a lesson from Phredd Phurman
You just smile at him and say
Yes, if you meet a cranky blighter
And he’s having a bad day
Take a lesson from old Phreddo
You just smile at him and say
“It’s nature’s way, It’s nature’s way, It’s
nature’s way”

INVISIBLE FRIEND
My friend Kristi had invisible friends when she was
a little girl. She once told me that she thought Jesus was her mom’s
invisible friend. I just had to write a song about that.
I have an Invisible Friend
He likes to lend me a hand
I hope you’ll understand
If you can understand
an Invisible Friend
He has an invisible voice
to help me make the right choice
He speaks and I rejoice
At His voice I rejoice
When I make the right choice
You can not see Him
But you can meet Him
You’ll have to trust that He’s very real
And he lives here in my heart
He is invisibly strong
And I know it won’t be long
Until you’re singing His song
Won’t be long
Nothing’s wrong
When you’re singing His song
You can not see Him
But you can meet Him
You’ll have to trust that He’s very real
And he lives here in my heart
Closer than a brother
Sweeter than a mother
His friendship is like butter
No, I did not stutter
Get your heart out of the gutter
Sweeter words I can not utter
This will make your eyelids flutter
Yes, He is none other
Than Jesus Christ the King
Jesus Christ the King
You can not see Him
But you can meet Him
You’ll have to trust that He’s very real
And he lives here in my heart
I have an Invisible Friend
He likes to lend me a hand
I hope you’ll understand
If you can understand
an Invisible Friend
If you can understand an Invisible Friend
If you can understand an Invisible Friend

BE BOP BOP
One morning my son Zachery was walking around the house singing Be Bop Bo
as he was playing. It sounded like such a happy thing to say. Just saying Be
Bop Bo puts a smile on your face.
CHORUS
Ba Be Bop Bo Ba Be Bop Bo
Ba Ba Ba Ba Ba Ba Be Bop Bo
Ba Be Bop Bo Ba Be Bop Bo
Ba Ba Ba Ba Ba Ba Be Bop Bo
My friend Henry Bugabee
Says that he’ll come pray with me
When he stops in at my place
There’s a smile on his face
He sings...
CHORUS
I say hey there Henry B.
What’s in store?
What can you see?
He says I don’t really know
But I am prepared to go and sing
CHORUS
I ask H. B. what’s the trick
To make his smile really stick?
His reply sure pleases
He just points to Jesus and sings..

42 MONKEYS
Suggested motions
during the chorus of “42 monkeys ahoo ahoo”
stand like a monkey and hang your hands down and itch your stomach and your
head like a monkey.
42 Monkeys tried to steal my... mom
Tried to take her to monkey prom
Dad said "no" sticking out his chin
42 monkeys looked around again
42 Monkeys tried to steal my...bike
They told me to take a long hike
Joey said "NO!" while we pulled their tails
42 monkeys, 2 boys, who fails?
CHORUS
42 Monkeys ahoo ahoo
42 Monkeys ahoo ahoo
42 monkeys tried to steal my ... brain
Thought they'd leave it out in the rain
Mom said "no" with a frightful shout
42 monkeys were all bumming out
CHORUS
42 Monkeys tried to steal my bike
Tried to steal my brain
TRIED TO STEAL MY MOM !
42 monkeys tried to steal my... guitar
In my book that’s going way too far
I roared, "NO"! and they trembled in fear
42 monkeys they all disappear
42 Monkeys ahoo ahoo
42 Monkeys all disappear
They’re out of here

BLUE KANGAROO
Suggested motion
Hop like a Kangaroo with your hands
out in front of you each time you sing the word Kangaroo. During the verses,
put your hands to your ears and make “Big Kangaroo Ears” along
the side of your head to better listen to the words. Don’t forget to
put your hand to your mouth and blow a big kiss at the end.
CHORUS
Blue blue, Blue Kangaroo
Blue blue, Blue Kangaroo
Blue blue, Blue Kangaroo
Blue dee doo
You say you go to church
You say you don’t act rough
You say you clean your room
And pick up your stuff
But getting to heaven by what you do is
Just like kissing a Blue Kangaroo
Just like kissing a Blue Kangaroo
CHORUS
You say you love your mom
You say you’re never late
You say you put your two cents in the offering plate
But getting to heaven by what you do is
Just like kissing a Blue Kangaroo
Just like kissing a Blue Kangaroo
Blue Kangaroos all hopping around
Blue Kangaroos just can’t be found
Blue Kangaroos don’t make the list
Now here’s the twist
They just don’t exist
CHORUS
You say you stand up straight
You say you eat your peas
You say you always say thanks
Don’t forget to say please
But getting to heaven by what you do is
Just like kissing a Blue Kangaroo
Just like kissing a Blue Kangaroo
Blue Kangaroos all hopping around
Blue Kangaroos just can’t be found
Blue Kangaroos don’t make the list
Now here’s the twist
They just don’t exist
Blue Kangaroos all hopping around
Blue Kangaroos just can’t be found
And getting to heaven by what you do is
Just like kissing a Blue Kangaroo
I said getting to heaven by what you do is
Just like kissing
Just like kissing (smackeroo)
Just like kissing a Blue Kangaroo

WHEN I SEE YOU
special duet with Steven Courtney
special accordion opening by Dirk Moxley
I pass a big white llama everyday on my way to work
I see the mailman swinging from the vine above the avenue
I hear accordion magic in the studio from my friend Dirk
But nothings quite as great as the feeling when I see you
CHORUS
When I see you
When I see you
Everything's sweet as oranges
When I see you
I smell the sweet sweet fragrance from the roses up on cloud nine
I hop the elevator to Cloud Ten and Eleven too
French fried hamburgers wafting aroma truly fine
But nothings quite as groovy as the feeling when I see you
CHORUS
I taste the hint of berries in the bubble gum that I've been chewing
I’m swimming in Bing cherries in everything little thing I'm doing
I pass a big white llama everyday on my way to work
I see the mailman swinging from the vine above the avenue
I hear accordion magic in the studio from my friend Dirk
But nothings quite as great as the feeling when I see you
Yeah, nothings quite as great as the feeling when I see...

FREE FREE
Let me weave you a tale of a narrow escape
‘Bout a guy who the world tried to manipulate
Who was guilty as sin, yet set free from his cell
Now I am that guy, and I’m here to tell
Chorus
That I’m Free, Free Free Free Free
He set me Free, Free Free Free Free
He made me Free, Free Free Free Free
Jesus Has made me Free
Now I’ve lived this life in the chains of this mind
While pursuing what naturally stalks humankind
Not to mention escaping pointed fingers my way
From the hands that resented this statement I made
Chorus
The oppression I feel makes my soul suffocate
As I wake from a sweat with a passion to hate
But the hate can’t control me and neither will they
Cause I left it behind at the feet where they lay

IF JESUS CAME TO VISIT ME
If Jesus came to visit me
Do you think that he’d play ball with me
Do you think that he might stay for tea
If Jesus came to visit me
If Jesus stopped in at my place
Do you think that he would paint my face
do you think that he could run a race
If Jesus stopped in at my place
Did Jesus have a teddy bear
Did the little girls pull his hair
Do you think he made his friends play fair
Did Jesus have a teddy bear
Did Jesus ever play baseball
Did he hit one over that great big wall
Did he ever steal a base at all
Did Jesus ever play baseball
Did Jesus ever spill his drink
Did his baby diapers really stink
What did his friends and family think
Did Jesus ever spill his drink
Did Jesus ever run and hide
Did he feel those butterflies inside
Do you wonder if he ever cried
Did Jesus ever run and hide
If Jesus came to visit you
Do you think that he would talk with you
Do you think that he might listen to
If Jesus came to visit
If Jesus came to visit
